It is less than a 15-minute drive up I-93, and our facility has ample on-site parking, so you will never have an issue finding a space (snow removal takes place during the winter, so the parking lot is always clear).

Membership at Krav Maga Yashir is $185/mo, for unlimited training, and $155/mo if you are a veteran or first-responder. We don't do day-passes, or books of classes etc. There are no long-term contracts, and membership can be cancelled with 30-days notice. We use automatic billing, with payments taken on the 1st of each month. When you initially sign up, the monthly rate will be pro-rated, for the remaining days of the month.

On sign-up, you receive a copy of Gershon's first book on Krav Maga, which contains a lot of the fundamental techniques that we use in most classes. You also receive a school t-shirt. Your membership also includes access to our virtual/online training program, that as well having photographs, videos, and explanations of techniques and solution also has a searchable database of all the virtual classes that are taught.

If you are interested in joing the school, you must first take either an in-person 60-minute introductory class, or complete our virtual online course. Both of these give you a foundation for training in regular classes. To see a schedule of introductory classes, please use the buton below.

Beginner Classes

To join the school you must attend an in-person 60-minute introductory seminar. This takes you through some of the basic Krav Maga training methods, such as "fighting games", how to hold pads for padwork etc., along with the basics of blocking and striking etc. This means that when you attend your first class, you will be able to hit the ground running. This also means, that when you are a member at the school, you will never have to train with individuals who don't know how to do these things, making regular classes a much more productive experience. We also have an online/virtual version of this seminar structured as a short-course for those, whose schedules don't permit them to take an in-person introductory seminar. To sign up for one of these classes, please use the button below.

Yes, we do have sparring in some of our classes, however we don't allow people to spar until they have the neccessary skills to do, which includes being able to control their kicks and punches etc. Sparring, van be a productive tool, when introduced and conducted properly, however if people aren't confident in their skills and abilities, then they are likely to panic, which increases the risk of injury to everybody, and creates a negative association with this activity. A lot of the drills which we do as part of our regular classes, that thrains control of range and disance, develops good foot-work etc., help students get to a point where they are confident to spar.

In all of our classes which have sparring, there is also a non-sparring option. We have this for students who don't yet feel eeady to spar, and for those who may not on a particular day want to spar, but still do drills etc.

Krav Maga is a complete system in that it has solutions to whatever violent situation you may find yourself in. Krav Maga looks at defending yourself when on the ground from two perspectives: one, where you need to be able to be able to get yourself back up to standing (ground survival), and two, when you want to finish the fight on the ground (ground fighting). The same movement, controls, and escapes are used in both, but the ground-fighting component, alo includes, locks, chokes and strangulations etc.
